Facts:
- Current server is an AWS instance running WHM/cPanel.
- Can spin up a new server solely to host these blog sites.
- Sites are only going to be 1-3 pages. Very simple. Visitors should be able to leave comments.
- Starter test is going to be 100-500 sites. Hope to scale up to 10,000 - 30,000 sites.
- Template will be easy to create, as content on sites will be very similar. Some of the text and an image or two will change, but overall, the sites will be nearly identical.
I'm currently researching best methods, but figured I'd get some opinions from here as well. In your opinion, what is the best (or a top contender) method for rapidly deploying a large number of small, simple sites? If we use WHM/cPanel, account/site creation will be done programmatically. Actually, I guess this would be the case regardless of the existence of a control panel. And then obviously directory structure, code, etc will be created programmatically as well.
Thoughts? Any input is appreciated. Thank you!
